Wesley Memorial UMC in Wilmington will offer Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School June 22-26 from 9:00-12 noon each day for children going into Kindergarten-5th grades. Wesley will also be hosting a Music Camp, called Art-Is-In July 27-31 from 9:00-3:00pm each day for children who've completed 1st-6th grades. The cost is $75 for the week. Wesley will also be hosting an Upward Basketball Camp August 10-14 for children going into Kindergarten-3rd grades. Times are 9:00-12 noon each day and cost is $35 for the week. Registration forms are available for all these camps in our church office or you can call Leslie Key at 791-4092 for more information.
The 9th Annual Camp Meeting will take place over a weekend this fall. The dates are Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights, Sept. 17-19. A educational opportunity session on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 18 is being planned along with the possibility of a Youth Rally on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 19.
This note is sent to request that you pass the news & save the date for the upcoming 2010 Fore The Lord Golf Tournament to be held at Carolina Sands, White Lake, NC on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Come have some fun and fellowship with us! Enjoy lunch, keynote speaker, shotgun start at noon, hole in one sponsorship and other prizes. All proceeds raised through this event benefit the Methodist Home for Children. Please make plans now to play, sponsor a hole, volunteer or;otherwise contribute to this annual event.
