El Puente is a new outreach supported by a Duke Endowment Grant that seeks to offer education and empowerment to the Hispanic/Latino community. This outreach is seeking churches willing to offer space for education and health fairs. If your church would like to know more or would like to host an event, please call Rev. Linda Taylor 452-5033.
Oleander United Methodist has now opened a computer lab to learn either English or Spanish using the Rosetta Stone. Hours the lab is open: Monday and Wednesday 7-8:30 P.M.; Thursday 1-3 P.M. If you know of someone wishing to learn Spanish/English please pass this information on.
